Blog #22: New Story on the Horizon!

Hey all, I’ve got some exciting news to bring to my readers, and I hope you’ll all be as excited about it as I am! I had another Backstreet Boys experience this past weekend, not only seeing them in concert twice, but meeting them again as well (separate blog about that later, when I have more time and get the pictures back!), so needless to say, it was an amazing weekend. I’ve been struggling with a few nagging ideas that have been kind of percolating in the back of my mind since I first met them in August, and I’ve finally been able to do something with them. My new friend, Holly, who I met through the Backstreet Boys fan club, has been a huge help with this little project, so I’m hoping you’ll all like it as much as she does. I’ll warn everyone now, it’s going to have a slight NC-17 rating, which is different from what I’ve posted here before, but I’ve handled the sexual parts tastefully (I hope), so it shouldn’t be too bad.

I know my writing has been primarily Orlando-centred, and that I’m still working on Some Scars Never Heal, but I just felt this little project deserved to see the light of day. Since not everyone is familiar with the Backstreet Boys, I’ll post videos and such with the chapters, to give you an idea of what I’m talking about. They’re amazing performers and I think it will add that much more to the story if you all get to see what I’m seeing in my head. Sometimes words just don’t do them justice.

I’m hoping to get the first chapter or two of this new project posted in the next few days. I want to get some more written first, and find out if anyone would be interested in reading it, before I actually put it out there. So leave me your comments, either her or via e-mail, so that I’ll know if you’ll be interested in reading it. I think these guys can prove quite as desirable as Orlando if given the chance (I may be biased, you never know!), so I’m hoping you’ll take a peek at what I bring you.

That being said, I will still be continuing with Scars, definitely, and this new story won’t affect those updates. If anything, being able to focus on something else creatively for awhile has given me a new appreciation for what a mammoth undertaking Scars turned out to be, and has made me want to finish it even more. I’ve got some great new stuff in mind for Peyton and Orlando, so I’ll absolutely be posting new chapters soon.

Thanks, everyone, for reading, and I hope you’ll come with me on this great new adventure I’ve created. I think it’ll be good times for all! :)
